Webinar – How Can I Add Interactivity to My Online Content?

Giving students repeated opportunities to interact with content is essential for learning. Too often, however, students don’t have this option in online and hybrid classes. They might interact with content through homework or extra readings, but they miss out on the type of immediate engagement with course material found in the face-to-face classroom.

The presentation covers tactics for engaging students, such as requesting feedback at timely intervals, posing questions for discussion, and taking periodic pauses that allow the student to consider and retain the subject matter in each course unit. You’ll learn how to prepare videos that draw students in and get them to respond by adding tags and links to other sites.



This course is worth 1 hour (0.1 CEU) of professional development. A certificate of completion can be printed once the program has been completed.

Step 2: If you don’t have an account, click the link “Don’t have username and password.”

Step 3: Fill out the form using the email address you have through ACC.

Step 4: Upon submission of the form, you will receive an email to validate and activate your individual account.

Step 5: After validation you will be ready to login, click the login box at the upper right corner again at, and use the institution email and password you just created to login.
