Summer Software Day is an annual event that offers workshops for all Austin Community College (ACC) faculty and staff. The event provides an opportunity to keep up to date with your tech skills and learn new ones to implement in your classrooms and day-to-day tasks. This year, Summer Software Day will be delivered entirely online.

The Teaching & Learning Excellence Division Office of Faculty Development invites proposals for sessions exploring tools that further enhance ACC’s learning and working environment. We are seeking presenters for workshops that focus on:

- Assessment Techniques/Grading/Providing Feedback to Students

Scheduled Workshop Times

- 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
- 10:15 – 11:15 a.m.
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Keynote Speaker)
- 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
- 2:15 – 3:15 p.m.
- 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Workshop Delivery
Unless specifically excepted, all workshops will be delivered using Zoom. The Teaching and Learning Excellence Division (TLED) will set up a Zoom session for each workshop. On request, Zoom training can be provided for presenters before the event. All workshops will also have a technical support professional assigned to assist the presenters and ensure smooth online delivery.

Proposal Deadline: Monday, June 17, 2024.
Accepted presenters will be notified by the end of June.
