About
The Austin Community College (ACC) Service Academy is a two-day virtual event open to all ACC employees that endeavors to support a culture of service at ACC. The event highlights pertinent areas of service through a well-grounded program that encompasses elements of current and past exemplary college service endeavors.
The ACC Service Academy supports the 3 Cs: Collaboration, Connecting, and Caring.
The event strives to provide opportunities for participants to engage in service as a means to positively impact both the college and community as well as to grow professionally and personally. Participants have the opportunity to become ACC Service Ambassadors.

The ACC Service Academy is completely online.
Summer Service Project June – August 2022: 2 – 5 hours
Selection Options for Service Work/Project:

- Other Options: African American Youth Harvest Foundation, Austin Homeless Support Program, Austin Animal Shelter, YMCA

Acknowledgment & Recognition
General Assembly: Friday, September 16th, 2022
- Service Ambassadors will be acknowledged during General Assembly.
Recognition Ceremony: TBD
- Service Ambassadors will receive a certification of completion.
