Congrats on embarking on the opportunity to share your knowledge, skills, and abilities with Austin Community College (ACC) and the Dual Credit program! To serve as a Dual Credit Faculty member, successful completion of the Dual Credit Training is required.
The online Dual Credit Training is available for participation at all times, year-round. Any faculty member who wants to teach a Dual Credit course must retake it every two years. To be placed on the Dual Credit Faculty List, potential Dual Credit Faculty must score at least 70% on the assessment at the end of the online training and complete the interactive video portions.
Participants may take the final assessment as many times as needed to succeed.
After completing this training you will be able to:
- Apply equitable techniques in your classroom
- Distinguish the difference between Dual Credit and Early College High School programs
- Identify high school & college student support resources
- Discover support services for Dual Credit Faculty
Dual Credit Training
The training is fully online and self-paced.
Note: You must be logged into your ACC email for the link to work.
Upon successful completion, participants will be added to the completion list. Please allow at least two business days for the list to be updated from the date of successful completion.
