Overview
Remote Recess Rewind is a series of online, self-paced courses that allow Austin Community College (ACC) faculty and staff to learn more about tools and technologies by rewatching Remote Recess sessions, taking a short quiz, and accessing resources to support continuous learning.
Professional development credit is automatically awarded in Workday after successful completion.

Accessing Respondus 4.0 with ACC’s Virtual Desktop
Did you know you can access ACC’s network and use common applications from virtually any computer even when you’re not on campus? Do you want to learn how to easily generate paper versions of electronic tests from Blackboard or import tests from other programs into your Blackboard courses?
Accessing Respondus 4.0 with ACC’s Virtual Desktop workshop will help you gain an understanding of how to utilize the virtual desktop to access the tools you need and also provides detail on importing and retrieving tests from Blackboard using Respondus 4.0.

Did you know ACC is the first community college in the nation designated an Adobe Creative Campus? This partnership offers free access for faculty and staff to Adobe’s full suite of industry-leading creation tools. Our Adobe Express workshop provides a beginner overview of using these tools to make a variety of flyers, posters, videos, social media posts, and more!

Are you new to using Blackboard and overwhelmed with where to start? Our Blackboard – Getting Started and Getting Help workshop offers a beginner overview of how to use this learning management tool, including how to set up a course, tips and tricks for using Blackboard, and where to find help if you or your students need it.

Getting ready for the upcoming semester and not sure how to copy your current course content into a new Blackboard course shell? Confident in your skills but interested in picking up some additional helpful tips and tools? BB Basics: Course Copy Procedure & Best Practices workshop will demonstrate the steps for performing a successful course copy as well as tips for ensuring that the content is accessible to students in the upcoming semester.

Our Packback Basics workshop offers a beginner overview of using this tool to shorten feedback loops for students and instructors while also promoting a student-centered, trust-based learning environment in your courses.
