Austin Community College (ACC) Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and the Teaching & Learning Excellence Division (TLED) provide ACC faculty with guidance and support for the design and development of courses that are accessible to all students.
Schedule a SAS Consultation
Student Accessibility Services (SAS) staff are available to help you and can connect you with additional support services. Please email SAS@austincc.edu to set up a consultation or if you have any questions.
Course Materials
There are several options available to help ACC faculty develop accessible course materials:

- Schedule a meeting with SAS to develop a plan for converting course materials into accessible formats: SAS@austincc.edu
- If you are creating instructional materials such as videos, websites, or documents and would like assistance, please visit the Teaching Consultations and Support page to view options.
- All audiovisual materials must be captioned. To request closed captioning, complete the online request form.
Consultations with an Instructional Designer
Instructional designers are available to discuss teaching strategies and ideas. Please submit the Instructional Design Support Request Form to get the process started. Visit the Teaching Consultations & Support page for additional assistance options.
