Austin Community College (ACC) Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and the Teaching & Learning Excellence Division (TLED) provide faculty with guidance and support to design and develop courses that are accessible to all students.
Schedule a SAS consultation
SAS staff are available to help and can connect you with additional support services. Email SAS@austincc.edu to set up a consultation or ask questions.
Course materials
Options to help faculty develop accessible course materials:
- Meet with SAS to create a plan for converting course materials into accessible formats: SAS@austincc.edu
- If you are creating instructional materials such as videos, websites, or documents and want assistance, visit the Teaching Consultations and Support page to view options.
- All audiovisual materials must be captioned. To request closed captioning, complete the online request form.
Consultations with an instructional designer
Instructional designers are available to discuss teaching strategies and course design. Submit the Instructional Design Support Request Form to get started. For additional assistance options, visit the Teaching Consultations & Support page.
