Distance Education Testing Methods
There are three types of distance education methods. For any questions regarding distance testing please contact Chris Davis, email: firstname.lastname@example.org, phone: (512) 223-0419.
ACC Testing Services
Exams may be administered at the Testing Centers on campus. Refer to Testing Centers: Getting Started Guide for Faculty. Exams should be available at all ACC Testing Centers.
Respondus is an application used to develop computer-based exams in Blackboard. It enables you to author, schedule, deliver, and track test questions within a secure environment. Test results can be generated automatically for common types of questions and sent directly to your Blackboard Gradebook. For support, contact the Instructional Designer on your campus.
The Office of Distance & Alternative Education facilitates testing services for students outside the Austin area. The student is responsible for finding a testing facility to proctor exams and providing documentation to confirm testing arrangements. Proctors are expected to comply with ACC Testing Center procedures to maintain the integrity of the testing process. Visit the distance testing page for more information.
