Teaching & Learning Centers (TLCs)

Teaching & Learning Centers (TLCs) are located on every ACC campus. They provide faculty and staff with access to technology, equipment, and instructional support.

Available Resources

Macs and PCs with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Printers and scanners
Access to email, Blackboard, and the internet
Media capture and file encoding tools

Production Pods

Production Pods are available for faculty and staff who wish to create instructional videos, course introductions, demonstrations, or other academic media. Each room is equipped with a Mac computer, professional lighting, a microphone and a green screen backdrop.

Users may record independently or request assistance from an Educational Technologist for setup and support.

Production Pods are available at the Highland, Round Rock and Riverside Teaching & Learning Centers.

Summer Intersession Information

Educational Technology Support

- - Aug. 10-14: All campus locations will be closed to walk-in support. Virtual support will be available from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  - Aug. 17-21: All campuses resume in-person and virtual support (normal hours are listed below).

Fall semester phone and TeamDynamix (TDX) support

As a reminder, the Educational Technology Support team provides a single phone number and TDX portal to request support or training throughout the ACC District. For the Fall semester, phone and email support are available:

- Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (in-person and virtual), 5-9 p.m. (virtual)
- Saturday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (virtual)
- Sunday: Closed

- Aug. 10-14 and Aug. 17-21
  - HLC Teaching & Learning Center (1.1311) – technology distribution only
    - Monday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
    - Tuesday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
    - Wednesday: 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
    - Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
    - Friday: 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
  - All other Computer Centers and technology distribution locations will be closed.
- Aug. 24: All locations resume normal hours.
