Service-Learning

Service-Learning is a form of experiential learning that integrates community service into the curricular objectives of an academic course. Students work directly with local organizations to benefit their cause while gaining a better understanding of how the content they learn at ACC can be used to generate real-world change. Service-learning is more than just volunteering. The projects facilitated through these courses will challenge students to apply their academic knowledge and skills in a real-world setting in collaboration with local nonprofits or government agencies.
