HyFlex Teaching & Learning FIG (HyFIG)
Are you interested in developing a community of support around your experience with teaching HyFlex courses?
The HyFlex Faculty Interest Group (HyFIG) will serve as a communal space for faculty to share teaching and learning best practices; support each other through shared experiences; explore the pedagogically rich modality; participate in effectiveness research; and apply lessons learned to a HyFlex class.
Tentative topics include:
-
- Building a community of support
- Navigating HyFlex technology during live class meetings
- Strategies to engage students across both attendance modalities
- Effective assessment approaches
- Evaluating your first semester of HyFlex teaching
- Potential areas of improvement for the collegewide HyFlex pilot
For any questions, please contact Stephanie Long (stephanie.long@austincc.edu), Professor, Geographic Information Systems, Associate Dean, Faculty Center for Learning Innovation (FCLI).
