HyFlex Teaching & Learning FIG (HyFIG)

Are you interested in developing a community of support around your experience with teaching HyFlex courses?

The HyFlex Faculty Interest Group (HyFIG) will serve as a communal space for faculty to share teaching and learning best practices; support each other through shared experiences; explore the pedagogically rich modality; participate in effectiveness research; and apply lessons learned to a HyFlex class.

Tentative topics include:

• • Building a community of support
  • Navigating HyFlex technology during live class meetings
  • Strategies to engage students across both attendance modalities
  • Effective assessment approaches
  • Evaluating your first semester of HyFlex teaching
  • Potential areas of improvement for the collegewide HyFlex pilot
