The Great Migration to Online Learning Survey
Due to COVID-19, the Great Migration to Online Learning Survey was administered to ACC faculty at the end of the spring semester to get feedback on their experiences. Over 600 faculty responded. The survey responses will be used to guide future steps in supporting faculty.
Device Check-Out for Faculty
The Office of Instructional Technology is providing various types of devices to support faculty in their move to teaching fully online. Faculty who are in need of technology can borrow devices throughout the pandemic, including iPads, webcams, microphones, headsets, etc.
Faculty who are in need of devices to support their online teaching should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Device Check-Out for Students
In partnership with Student Affairs, TLED Library Services and Instructional Technology has secured various types of devices to support students who do not have the necessary technology at home to complete their coursework in an online format. Included in these devices is 1000 iPads, a limited supply of laptops for students in specialized academic programs, webcams, etc.
Students who are in need of technology for their online coursework should complete the student technology access form.
The Office of Student Affairs will contact students who submit the form to provide additional information.
TLED created a Teaching Online Continuity Guide that serves as a comprehensive resource and includes how to get expert help, upcoming training, web conferencing options, teaching online resources, online testing details, and frequently asked questions related to transitioning your courses to an online format. We continue to add resources and respond to FAQs regularly.
