Academic Alert: Support System to Keep Students on Track
Austin Community College (ACC) is committed to student success and retention. The Academic Alert System is a feature of Inspire, ACC’s student support platform. It allows faculty to quickly connect students with guidance specialists when challenges arise or to recognize students who are excelling.
When to Use Academic Alert
- Students stop attending or miss assignments
- Personal challenges are shared
- Poor test performance
- To commend student improvement or strong performance
How It Helps
Faculty can easily identify students who may need additional support. Alerts notify the student and/or their assigned guidance specialist, who can then connect the student with resources to stay on track and succeed.
