Teaching Online at ACC

The Teaching & Learning Excellence Division (TLED) and the Office of Distance and Alternative Education (ODAE) work diligently to provide comprehensive support services for potential and current distance education faculty.

Requirements for Teaching Online

Before an ACC faculty member can teach a fully online or hybrid course, they are required to successfully complete the Distance Learning Instruction Series (DLIS). The DLIS training is a self-paced fully online course delivered through Blackboard.

To register for the fully online training, please visit the Distance Learning Instruction Series page.

For any questions concerning the DLIS training, please contact Michelle Escudier, Instructional Designer, (512) 232-9187, email mescudier@austincc.edu.
