Blackboard Learn

Removal of Course Sites

On Friday, October 20, 2023, LMS Services will begin to remove course sites from ACC Blackboard. Course sites from Fall 2020, spring 2021, and Summer 2021 semesters are scheduled for deletion (220F, 221S, and 221U). Most of these course materials have already been copied into current course sites.

If you want to keep a copy of these course sites, please export them to your desktop computer. You can then reuse the course materials by importing this file into future Blackboard course sites.

To export a course site, go to Control Panel > Packages and Utilities > Export/Archive Course

Select all checkboxes, and then click Submit.

You will receive an email when your course export is ready for download. To download the export file, return to Control Panel > Packages and Utilities > Export/Archive Course, and you will see the export file linked for download.

If you have questions about this process, please contact an Educational Technologist on your campus or submit a consultation or support request.

Blackboard is the learning management system for Austin Community College (ACC). Every face-to-face, hybrid, and online course has a corresponding Blackboard course site.
