Packback is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning platform for inquiry-based discussion, writing assignments, and instructor coaching.
Access
The easiest way to access Packback the first time is to add Packback as an external tool to a Blackboard course. Use this guide to get started: Adding Packback to Your Learning Management System.

Features
Packback Questions (discussion) features instant coaching and feedback powered by instructional AI, automatic moderation, participation grading and gradebook sync, and instructor insights.
Packback Deep Dives (essays) features digital writing tutor, digital research assistant, citation generation, AI generated text and plagiarism detection, and suggested grades for AI supported categories.
Packback Writing Lab features a direct-to-student writing tutor, instant feedback on all writing projects, logical fallacy detection and other advanced AI features, and works seamlessly with Deep Dives.

- Curious about Packback? Check the TLED Calendar for upcoming learning sessions or watch the “Getting Started with Packback” videos on the Packback YouTube channel.
- Add Packback as an external tool to your Blackboard course to start testing the tool.
- After you add Packback as an external tool to a Blackboard course, your instructor account will automatically be created along with a personal Packback sandbox community when you launch Packback for the first time.
